WorldGraphics: BRICS milestones from 2006 to 2026

BRIC was formalized in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, India and China, later becoming BRICS after South Africa joined. The bloc expanded substantially in 2024 and 2025; India says it now represents 49.5% of the world’s population, 40% of global GDP and 26% of global trade. The 2026 summit is scheduled for September 12-13.
