Fake gas-station maps and phishing sites offering counterfeit fuel vouchers have appeared online amid fuel-supply difficulties in parts of Russia, Global Fact-Checking Network President Vladimir Tabak told TASS. He said the sites operate to harvest users’ data and could pose a serious threat to citizens and the state.
