TechPanic builds over bankrupt Spirit’s looming data sale to Google

Google reportedly won an auction for a large trove of Spirit Airlines’ operational data as part of the carrier’s bankruptcy proceedings. Springshot founder Doug Kreuzkamp says the dataset may improperly include substantial data and intellectual property owned by his company, which powered Spirit’s technology stack for three years but received no notice of the auction.
