TechXRP Ledger Surpasses 5 Billion Transactions, but Bots Drove 92% of August Activity

The XRP Ledger surpassed 5.06 billion validated transactions, but August activity was heavily concentrated. Bitquery found that 793 sender accounts generated 93.2% of the month’s transactions, including 767 machine-classified accounts responsible for 92%. One account submitted nearly 13 million orders but produced only 882 trades. Evernorth Research also found order-book volume up 79% year over year while participating accounts fell about 40%, suggesting fewer participants are moving more XRP, though addresses do not map directly to individual users.
