Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said attacks on vessels in the Black Sea cannot damage Russia’s relations with Turkey because Moscow did not initiate them. He said Kiev opened a “Pandora’s box” by attacking Russian civilian infrastructure, and argued that commercial vessels carrying weapons, military equipment and fuel for Ukrainian forces are being, and will continue to be, destroyed.
