India’s potential demand for Russian helicopters could reach about 5,000 aircraft, Tatarstan Industry and Trade Minister Oleg Korobchenko told TASS. Tatarstan plans to explore with India the localization of production, maintenance services and technology transfers, though the potential investment has not yet been determined.
