Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi agreed that relations with Moscow are important, ruling Liberal Democratic Party lawmaker Muneo Suzuki told TASS after a private meeting. Suzuki denied reports that they discussed Vladimir Putin’s recent visit to Iturup and said the talks mainly focused on an upcoming election in Okinawa.
