A Hong Kong court convicted Dow Jones of trying to prevent Wall Street Journal journalist Selina Cheng from running for chair of the Hong Kong Journalists Association. It acquitted the publisher over her dismissal, accepting that she was made redundant because of corporate restructuring rather than her union role. Sentencing will come later.
