Japanese baseball legend Isao Harimoto has died at 86. A survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing, he became the first player from Japan to reach 3,000 hits and finished with a record 3,085 hits in Nippon Professional Baseball. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990.
