Sydney Morning Herald columnist Peter FitzSimons told the court that complainant C described alleged sexual assaults by broadcaster Alan Jones during a 2019 phone call. FitzSimons said C sounded tearful and emotionally traumatised, and reported repeatedly pushing away Jones’s hand. Jones has pleaded not guilty to 20 indecent-assault charges and two sexual-touching charges involving six men.
