WorldIRGC: Iran to permanently bar ships entering restricted zone from Strait of Hormuz
IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebi said vessels entering Iran’s newly declared maritime exclusion zone will lose maritime, insurance and logistical services and be permanently denied transit through the Strait of Hormuz. The zone will lie east of the strait, including Chabahar and areas of the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea.
