The Green Arctic NGO and Gazprom Neft volunteers collected more than 290 tons of waste and scrap metal during seven environmental expeditions on the Yamal Peninsula in 2026, cleaning 115 hectares. From 2023 to 2026, the project collected 2,483 tons of waste and cleared 1,950 hectares in Yamal.
