The Moscow Military District plans to create reservist-staffed units to reinforce air defenses at critically important facilities. The units will mainly operate high-speed interceptor drones. Instructor retraining is underway, but no deployment date has been set; reservist training will follow. Reservists have guarded the skies over the Leningrad region since spring 2026.
