Russia’s federal budget recorded a deficit of 5.795 trillion rubles ($67.56 billion), equal to 2.5% of GDP, in January-August 2026, the Finance Ministry said. Revenues rose 9.2% year on year to 25.929 trillion rubles, while expenditures increased 14.7% to 31.724 trillion. Non-oil and gas revenues grew 18.1%, and August dividend income totaled 691 billion rubles.
