WorldIsrael tells UK to close East Jerusalem consulate within 30 days

Israel has told the UK to close its consulate in occupied East Jerusalem within 30 days and said its diplomats there will lose their status. The move follows Britain’s sanctions on illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank. Israel also plans to remove UK staff from a Gaza coordination mission and bar several British MPs from entering the country.
