PoliticsEuropeans want a united Europe but doubt it can get there, study finds

A study based on 5,800 interviews across six countries finds that Europeans overwhelmingly want a strong, united and independent Europe, but increasingly doubt it is achievable. Seventy-four percent say Europe is handling major challenges poorly and 56% believe its future is in danger, creating fertile ground for far-right narratives of decline.
