WorldCluster munitions kill, wound more than 1,000 globally in 2025

Cluster munitions killed or injured at least 1,063 people worldwide in 2025, one of the highest annual totals on record, according to the Cluster Munition Coalition. Most casualties were civilians, including at least 34 children. Ukraine accounted for 87 percent of recorded casualties, while the true toll is likely higher because many cases go unreported.
