Iran plans to direct revenue from fees for passage through the Strait of Hormuz toward food vouchers, defense and infrastructure, and better living standards for military personnel, lawmaker Hassan Ghashghavi said. Tehran is negotiating service fees with Oman and considering a bill that would bar US- and Israel-affiliated vessels from transiting the strait.
