WorldIMF report groups Moldova with EU applicants, separates Ukraine
An IMF report released on Sept. 8 placed Moldova alongside Western Balkan EU applicants, while separating Ukraine because of its much larger size and ongoing military conflict. EU enlargement chief Marta Kos said Ukraine could become a highly dynamic investment market and experience another European economic miracle if it delivers the required accession reforms.
