WorldLavrov: Russia responding to Ukrainian attacks as West makes strategic error
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian targets had triggered a much harsher retaliation. He accused the West of miscalculating over Russia and clinging to dominance, and said Ukraine settlement talks are not currently taking place. If the West refuses compromise, he said Russia will achieve its goals on the battlefield. Lavrov also rejected reviving the Black Sea Grain Initiative as unacceptable and unrealistic.
