Foreign secretary Ed Miliband says Israeli “terrorists” are carrying out ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the West Bank with tacit government backing. The UK will ban imports from illegal settlements, restrict services and advertising linked to them, impose personal sanctions and block some export licences. France and Canada announced similar measures.
