TechCardano’s Leios delivers 6x scaling, but ADA faces a tougher economic test

Cardano’s Leios upgrade reached 26.8 transaction kilobytes per second in its first public testnet, roughly six times the ceiling of Ouroboros Praos. But the traffic was artificially generated rather than produced by fee-paying users. As releases from Cardano’s ADA reserve decline, attracting enough real usage to fund staking rewards becomes the harder challenge.
