TechLG TVs reportedly spy even when offline or on standby

A Gamers Nexus investigation with Level1Techs and independent security researchers found that retail LG OLED TVs can log and upload data about owners and their homes nearly constantly. The sets scan nearby networks and devices, record microphone audio in standby, and use audio and video sampling to identify viewing content. Some recordings remain stored offline until connectivity returns.
