The eighth China Grain Trading Conference ended Monday in Changsha, Hunan Province, with transactions and intended deals worth 87.87 billion yuan, or about $12.96 billion. The three-day event covered trade in 29.2 million metric tons of grain and oil products and 2,111 grain-machinery units, drawing more than 3,100 companies and 20,000 industry professionals.
