TechChina releases five-year plan for information and communications sector
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued a plan for the sector during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. It targets a fully established next-generation communications network by 2030, industry revenue of 4.1 trillion yuan, 95% 5G user penetration and 50 5G base stations per 10,000 people, while calling for timely 6G commercialization and stronger network and data security.
