Several Chinese films released this summer have drawn attention to their real-world filming locations. Desert scenes from Once Upon a Time in the Middle East were shot in Shitanjing, Ningxia, while Chengdu-made All Wishes Come True! features Qingcheng Mountain and local hotpot culture. Kung Fu Soccer includes scenes filmed at Xiyong Beach in Shenzhen.
