Chilean crypto exchange Orionx is shutting down and has frozen withdrawals after an audit found customer assets transferred to wallets outside its control. It notified prosecutors and filed a criminal complaint against former executives, but the recoverable amount and repayment date remain unknown. Chile’s financial regulator says it cannot compel restitution.
