Australia’s financial intelligence regulator AUSTRAC said it canceled, suspended or refused to renew 45 remittance and virtual asset registrations over the past year. After customer complaints and work with the National Anti-Scam Centre, it canceled the registration of GetCoins operator BA Digital Ventures, saying the action helped disrupt alleged organized cryptocurrency investment scams without alleging that GetCoins organized them.
