British student Finn Joughin was deported from Israel after working as a volunteer in the occupied West Bank with a movement seeking to protect Palestinian communities from settler attacks. He says armed Israeli settlers kidnapped him on August 29 after he intervened to protect Palestinian children. He was sent back to Britain and barred from Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory for 10 years.
