Ukraine’s military intelligence chief Oleh Ivashchenko said Russia’s economy is much weaker than at the start of the full-scale war but may still have enough resources to continue fighting for two more years, possibly through 2027 and 2028. He said Ukrainian strikes are worsening Russia’s fiscal pressure, with its budget deficit now at $82 billion.
