TechBentley’s Torcal EV tries to balance authenticity with fake V8 sounds

Bentley’s forthcoming 2027 Torcal electric SUV offers a spacious cabin, a notably smooth ride, and carefully tuned adaptive dampers. To preserve a signature Bentley character, engineers also created a simulated engine note inspired by the 1980s Turbo R’s V8 and tuned the throttle to imitate progressive, torquey V8 power delivery.
