HSBC and partners have launched a nonprofit platform to help emerging markets upgrade technology and shift from oil and coal to renewable energy. Backed by HSBC, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the Silk Road Fund and others, the Green Accelerator Programme will direct private capital toward feasibility studies and due diligence.
