Nepali Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal says satellite and other monitoring data shared by China are supporting Nepal’s response to devastating mudslides and helping authorities monitor risks of further damage. China has also provided emergency funds, humanitarian aid, relief supplies, and tunnel-rescue and DNA-identification experts. Rescue work remains difficult because damaged roads and bridges have cut off some areas.
