WorldLebanese president urges US, UN to force Israel to stop attacks on Nabatieh
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned Israeli attacks on Nabatieh and surrounding areas, saying they had gone beyond routine bombings and were intended to paralyze life in the south. He called on the United States and the United Nations to pressure Israel to respect the ceasefire. Lebanon’s health ministry reported four civilians killed and 20 injured. The IDF accused Hezbollah of violating the truce and said it had warned civilians ahead of a retaliatory air raid.
