TechHidden Solana upgrade bug could freeze network readers and quietly disable fee limits
Solana’s v1 transaction format raises the payload limit from 1,232 to 4,096 bytes, but it is not yet activated on mainnet. Unupdated RPC clients, indexers, relayers and fee sponsors may stop working or continue while misapplying resource and fee limits. The issue is an application-control failure, not a consensus flaw.
