WorldYemen army says it recaptured key territory as clashes with Houthis continue

Yemen’s government forces say they recaptured strategically important hills west of Taiz as heavy fighting with Houthi fighters entered a second day in western Taiz and southern Hodeidah. Sources report dozens of deaths on both sides, while a missile strike on a restaurant in al-Makha killed and injured civilians. The offensive is described as an attempt to gain ground toward the Red Sea port and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
