Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin said European elites were escalating relations with sovereign Eurasian powers instead of addressing economic stagnation, deindustrialization, and energy and migration crises at home. He said a new so-called “axis of evil,” or “axis of upheaval,” comprising China, Russia, Iran and North Korea had been invented.
