EconomyBitcoin crosses line that ended four of five bear markets, but historical trap still threatens $62,000 crash

Bitcoin rose above $82,000 intraday on Sept. 3, moving past the roughly $81,800 50-week moving average that Galaxy Research identifies as a bear-market ceiling. Four of five comparable completed bear markets bottomed after the first successful weekly reclaim, but the 2021–2022 exception saw two reclaims before a fresh low. A weekly close above the line is still required.
