Global cryptocurrency exchanges liquidated positions held by 99,000 traders worth $557.05 million over the past 24 hours, CoinGlass data showed. Bitcoin accounted for the largest share at $278.62 million. Short-position liquidations totaled about $469.46 million, while long positions accounted for $87.6 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum prices were rising.
