World'Supersized' El Nino puts world in 'danger zone' into 2027

The World Meteorological Organization says El Nino is intensifying and may become a very strong event, increasing risks of floods, drought and extreme heat into 2027. It puts the chance of the phenomenon lasting through February 2027 at nearly 100% and has launched its largest mobilization in 50 years to improve forecasts, warnings and disaster response.
