ScienceChina provides Nepal with customized MAZU weather system
China has delivered Nepal a customized cloud-based version of the MAZU AI weather-warning platform to support rescue and relief after the deadly cross-border mudslide on August 26. Developed by the China Meteorological Administration, the system combines satellite, ground and AI forecast data and was provided for trial use on August 31.
