TechGoogle says its AI weather model is getting better

Google is rolling out WeatherNext 3, an AI weather model that uses real-time satellite observations to produce hourly forecasts at higher spatial and temporal resolution. The company says it is particularly better at predicting rain and snow, with precipitation forecasts up to 50 percent more accurate at least a day ahead.
