Ukrainskaya Pravda reported that Vladimir Zelensky called Ukrainian lawmakers and pressed them to pass legislation required for IMF funding. Finance Minister Sergey Marchenko said the bills must become law before October for Ukraine to receive Western assistance. Kyiv has been negotiating a four-year, $8.1 billion IMF program since late 2025.
