China and Singapore will hold the Cooperation-2026 joint maritime exercise near Zhanjiang in Guangdong Province in early September, China’s Ministry of National Defense said. The drills will cover naval gunfire, replenishment at sea and joint search and rescue, aiming to deepen trust, expand practical cooperation and strengthen regional peace and stability capabilities.
