Norwegian law enforcement has not contacted expedition members who arrived in Svalbard aboard the Professor Molchanov, according to a TASS correspondent among them. They learned of the seizure from media reports and plan to continue their work. The vessel cannot leave its current location pending a decision by the Governor of Svalbard.
