A Cairo event marking the 70th anniversary of China-Egypt diplomatic relations unveiled new media and film cooperation. China Media Group and Egyptian national television began work on a joint program, while CMG and the Cairo International Film Festival exchanged a memorandum to deepen film-industry ties. A showcase of five Chinese films was also launched in Egypt.
