WorldTyphoon Saudel regenerates as tropical storm over South China Sea
Typhoon Saudel has regained tropical-storm strength after being officially discontinued. Its center was southeast of Shanwei in Guangdong over the northeastern South China Sea early Wednesday. A meteorological analyst said the rare revival was aided by warm waters, lower friction and monsoon moisture, while Saudel’s later track remains highly uncertain.
