Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan, toured the Grand Egyptian Museum with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his wife. Xi highlighted the historic ties between the two civilizations and called for equality, mutual learning, dialogue and inclusiveness, while Sisi voiced support for stronger cultural and people-to-people exchanges with China.
