SocietyTeen charged after boy’s hand nearly severed in alleged Sydney assault

New South Wales police say a 17-year-old boy suffered a near-complete severing of his hand in an alleged knife assault at a Redfern car park on Wednesday night. Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and breaching bail. He was refused bail and will appear in children’s court.
