Russian Ambassador to Belgium Denis Gonchar called the discovery last month of an explosives-laced drone at Leipzig airport a “sordid provocation” serving the Kiev regime and Europe’s “war party.” He said they sought to pull NATO and the EU into direct confrontation with Moscow, while Russia did not seek conflict with Europe but would defend its national security against threats from NATO, the EU and the Kiev regime.
